With the Masjid rebuilt and in 2000 along with the 6 social housing apartments for Muslim residents and accommodation for a resident imam and his family. The build was project managed by Mahroom Adam Mohammed with strong support from Mahroom Suleiman Ravat, Mahroom Mohammed Raja, Mahroom Yunus Hafejee & Mahroom Zakir Hafejee. What I also want to stress is the enormous contribution provided by the strong women of Popda and again this must never be ignored or forgotten
Its also worth noting that many of the families built or updated their own homes during that period
In the last 10 years we have funded a further three mosques, 2 in Gujarat and 1 in Rajasthan. In addition, we have contributed to a number of worthwhile causes including food parcels for residents in the surrounding area during COVID and hospitals to subsidise healthcare for the in India, irrespective of caste or religion.
